What Doc says about it:
"When I got the Spacewriter out of the box, I thought "Right then, here we go. Lets get GlowGadgets.com in this a wave it around at everyone" as that is the kind of thing that excites me these days.

Now without looking at the Instructions (who does?) I wanted to Switch it on, Input the Words and job done. Ehem, after a few minutes I managed to switch it on.
I waved it around and I could see it said "I" after pushing one of the three buttons again it said "LOVE" the "YOU" and then "SEXY". Great, I have got this figured, now I will just change that and get it going.
HOWEVER
10 minutes later I conceded to read the instructions. Then after reading them, I was confident that I would have to read them again, a few more times for it to sink in.

What the Spacewriter does Really Well (and EASY), is the patterns. There are loads of them and it has some preloaded, so at the press of one button, you have all kinds of bizarre shapes and tracers while you dance. That is Very Cool and just what I like.

The Words were a little complicated for me to start with (I am slowing turning into a TOG - Ask you mum if you don't know what that is) But with a little time I had figured out how to Put words, Images, Symbols and all kinds of stuff. It wasn't that difficult after all.
If all you want is something that makes amazing, colourful patterns in the air, while dancing, liquid dancing, glowsticking, then you will be over the moon with this baby.
If you want to write messages quickly, rude or not. Then it can be done by preloading them at home before you go out. When you get the hang of it, you can be show off to your mates how clever you are. So read the instructions and practice using it.
(Not like me who thought I could figure it out while showing it to a group of people in a bar. I looked a complete dick and they all shuffled off. Yes, sometimes I think I am very clever!)
All in all, I like it. It's small, the battery last ages. It turns itself off when not being used, the light is very bright and easy seen across a club, bar or betting shop (?).
I could stand in a crowd and Put
"OY TIESTO" "YOUR'E NOT" "THAT GOOD" or something ;)
