Silverpoint EX3 Extreme Pro LED Torch uses 3 x AAA

Weighing in at only 163g with batteries, the Extreme Pro 3, or EX3 for short, throws out 180 lumens of light from its 28mm Textured reflector.

The beam is bright, pure white and far throwing, with no discernable rings in the sidespill, which is clear and vide. The beam throws for good distance.

As soon as I get time I'll do a video and take some pictures to show how flashlights have moved on and are no longer stuck with using Lithium cells.

The build quality is really very good, Aircraft Aluminium Grade 2 Anodised, and size wize will fit in to most pockets at only 135mm in length, 38mm wide at the head, 25mm at the tail. Not its not tapered!.

The EX3 uses a CREE Q3 White LED and has two outputs. By tapping the tail switch you can select either 80 lumens or 180 lumens andthe burn time is claimed at 10hrs, though I have not tested to see if that is on high or low power. I'll let you know.

It's a really nice torch with good light output and would work just as well fastened to a Mountain bike using a Lockblock or in a Coppers Stab Vest or in your Mums Glove Box. I really good all rounder for less than 35 quid.

Comes with a lanyard, but NO Holster.
