The Led Lenser P6 is a beautiful beast of a torch with advantages over other LED Flashlights of it's size and battery number (2 x AA).
The Speed Focus allows this slim Torch Zoom from a tight and far throwing beam, to a wide and pure Flood and easily and as quickly as pointing a finger.
Led Lenser have a very special collumated lens system, which enables the P6 to place more power in its Beam than any other torches of greater output. When it comes to Throw, it beats the living daylights out of the Fenix LD20 which is rated at 180 lumens!
The full Lenser range pack a punch. Without a doubt, this torch has the ability to outshine, not only bigger and more expensive flashlights, but also torches that have CREE Q5 Leds that are bright and far throwing.
Using only 2 AA Batteries the Led Lenser P6 (# 8406) is a very affordable torch as in the long run there are very little running costs (Never needs a new bulb and the batteries last upto 40 hours on two AA's. impressive).
Use Rechargables and you can reduce your running costs to mere pence per charge.
It has a Momentary on switch for signalling and after prolonged use the head doesnt get warm, at all. One point I should mention is that the torch is unable to stand on its end to act as a candle, due to its rounded tailcap.
The holster that is supplied with the Led Lenser P6 is made of a very tough, Ballistic Nylon and has a belt loop that would accomodate the larger belt on the Veritcal, while the holster also has smaller loops on the Horizontal that could be used for Paracord and the like.
