| Bushcraft is about more than survival tools folk can buy online or at the nearest camping shop.
Bush Craft is a state of mind and for some, a way of life.
When you want to get started living outdoors, it can be tricky knowing what to buy and how to use it, so please allow me to make some suggestions. Don't get me wrong, I'm no Bushcraft master, but I've travelled, camped, trekked, hiked a lot and lived in some pretty rough places too.
I 've had to feed myself with what is available, using my head and not my credit card (never had one of those when I was backpacking round the World, or money for that matter, that is another story) I've had and lost more knives, torches, mess tins and tin cups than I care to mention, here's a few that I could have done with on many occasions.
Fire making is a snap with the Swedish Army Firesteel to give us lots of sparks & Maya Dust to give a Hot flame.
No need to sleep on the ground, with a comfy Hammock with Tarp and Mossie Net.
I don't have to drink water that was unsterile, now I've got water purifiers and Pristine Filters.
Fire Making, Boiling water & Brewing up is Easy these days with the Ghillie Kettle Firestarting Kit
We live a life that is full of comfort, warmth, TV and t'internet. It really is good to get away from these comforts, even if it's just to make us realise how lucky we to have them and how lucky we are to have Wilderness to go out in.
The products here will help you be at one with your surroundings & make your life a lot easier out in the wilderness.
All my Bushcraft tools and equipment are tried and tested and do what I say they do, or your money back. |
