The Ghillie Kettle (MADE IN ENGLAND) has a hollow wall that you fill with upto a litre and half of water.

When you make a small fire in the Ghillie kettles base, you place the ghillie over the fire and load the fire with wood down the funnel.

The ghillie kettle boils water in 4 minutes in freezing temperatures and almost half that time in mild weather. The ghillie is so effective at boiling waterdue to being shaped like a chimmney.

Fire heats the aluminium sides of the kettle and the hollow chamber, filled with water soon boils.

When the whistle blows the water is boiled. It really is a simple to use and very reliable peice of kit. Needing NO special fuels and can be used in bad weather. It's also lightweight and comes with a green backpack.

When removing the kettle from it's firey base, it is worth pointing out the you hold both sides of the handle and lift away from the bast, preventing yourself from getting burnt, if you were to lift the handle one handed directly above the hole where the flames are released.

I know it sounds like common sense to you, but some folk may need this pointing out to them as it is not immediatly obvious.

Once the kettle is away from the base, then you can carry the kettle one handed.

To pour you simply remove the whistle lid (it's hot) buy using the wooded handle, then use the chain to tip the water from the ghillie kettle.
