Good question and simple to answer. We've spent our money on clever electronics and not on flashy boxes, packaging or expensive LCD display screens.

We then use three LED's and beeps to communicate your warnings. Its simple and it saves you money

Why do you not include laser warning?

Another good question. Laser is currently legal in the UK but from next year, it won't be, because of the up and coming Road Traffic Bill. So rather than sell you something that could be illegal after you have bought it, we designed it without laser so you won't have to throw it in the bin if and when the legislation changes.

You don't ever need to be out of date!

A round-the-clock update service for subscribers ensures that you always have the latest information on fixed camera locations.You can update your Inforad simply by downoading the Inforad manager software and then connecting it to your computer. These updates are free for the first year from the date of purchase and can be renewed annually for only £24.99 (inc. VAT) per annum or a lifetime subscription for £49.99.

"Hey Doc - this little gizmo does just what it says on the box.

At least, it worked as advertised on the two known camera sites that I pass on the way to work. A great device.

The heated front window on the Mondeo was the only problem - solved by the external aerial.

I first tried mounting the aerial box to the inside of the rear window. Yes, works fine but wire draped all across the car.

Now I have placed the aerial box on inside of the lower n/s corner of the front windscreen (the heating elements do not stretch right to the edges).
Again, works fine. Now I have four metres of spare cable coiled on the dash!

In some cars it might be possible to place the Inforad box in this corner position (no extension aerial) but in the Mondeo the n/s corner puts the buttons out of reach and the o/s contains a special sensor for the aircon.
