Once again I have been surprised by Cyba-Lite, and I am glad of it. I have waited 3 months to see this promised torch. It arrived on my desk 9th June 2006.

The Ring Auro (Made by Nuwai is suspect) is a small handheld flashlight and produces a meager 0.5 watts. Not much you may think, BUT WAIT.

The 0.5 watts are being pumped through a very tidy collimator lens for an ultra focused beam. It uses the usual DC 2 DC power circuit to ensure Peak Light Output for the life of the Battery.

Yes, I said "Battery" as in ONE. Only a regular Alkaline AA battery is all that is needed to power the Cyba-Lte Auro. This means it doesnt need lots of power, and it's small, and cheap to run.

Starting to make sense now?

As flashlights go, LED flashlights at that, it is by no means "Powerful" It's not going to beat my V Square for Throw. But is beats all those wannabe Police Tactical Torches to see knocking around with god knows how many leds in them.

It really does the Job.

The Ring Cyba-lite AURO is for a different type of customer, someone how needs a reliable light, that can stand knocks, water, mud, dust (Yes it has O Rings) can perform in nastiest of weathers and situations.

Certain professionals don't need a stupidly bright light that will get them Spotted, you know who you are.

It has more Positive Points (10 that I can think of immediately) that I should point out, before you start asking How Much..

1/ The Ring Auro has 1 x Bright White Nichia LED

2/ The Size is Tiny, the Auro will slip in to a Pocket or Purse with barely a Bulge. It measures 28 x 28 x 140mm

3/ It is Rugged, Water Resistant and made in a way that makes me wonder why they are so many Crap Torches out there that cost a lot more than this one.

4/ The beam really is White. It's a Nichia, they invented White LEDS, I know you knew that.

5/ The Auro weighs only 87g fully loaded.

6/ It has a Rubber Tail switch - Momentary on for signaling, or Constant On/Off.

7/ The Auro comes complete with a Fitted Nylon Pouch that will fit 50mm Service Belts. it also has a long lanyard included.

8/ The Battery Life is up to 6 Hours (Maximum Output is 1.5 hrs) Duracell Battery Included.

9/ It looks and feels great and though small, has a very good grip and feels bigger than it is (which is nice).
